We sell hardware and ancillaries for windows, residential doors and patio doors, including bi-fold doors. This includes products such as locking systems, handles, hinges, roller systems, adhesives etc. We do not sell hardware for internal doors.

We have our own brand of hardware and ancillaries called greenteQ. The greenteQ range is packed full of innovations and is constantly growing and evolving.

We also sell products from what we consider to be widest selection of good quality 3^rd party brands. These include companies such as AGB, Cotswold, Dr. Hahn, Haps, Hoppe, Roto, Securistyle, Strand, Weiss-Chemie and Yale. There are many more.     

Our offices in Gillingham and East Kilbride are open Monday to Friday, from 0830 - 1700.

VBH Swansea is open from 0800 - 1700 Monday to Thursday, and 0800 - 1430 on Friday.

As we are a trade supplier and do not serve the public, all sites are closed at weekends and on bank holidays.

No. We are a trade supplier. Our customers are mainly window and door manufacturers and installers, hardware re-sellers, and builders. We would recommend that members of the public find a professional ‘window/door doctor’ to carry out a repair, or source replacement products through a specialist retailer.

Yes, we do ask for a modest minimum order value of £50 net. This does not include any applicable carriage charges.

All orders with a net value greater than £250 delivered to a business address on mainland Great Britain are carriage paid if standard delivery (2-3 working days) is requested. Carriage charges apply to the following orders

• all orders with a value under £250*
• all orders requested for overnight delivery
• all orders with a non-mainland GB delivery address

Customers will be informed of any applicable carriage charge when an order is acknowledged. 

*orders with a net goods value over £100 placed via our VBH24 online shop are eligible for free standard delivery (to mainland GB only).

Our standard delivery time is 2-3 working days. That means that if you place your order on a Monday, you can expect to see it on the Wednesday, or possibly Thursday during busy periods. Depending on workload you may even see the order on the Tuesday.  We can send orders out on a guaranteed  overnight delivery if they are placed before 13.30, but there is a charge for this option, regardless of order value or size.

Yes, you can collect your order in person from our centres in Gillingham, East Kilbride and Swansea. However, we do request that you place the order with our sales office first and give a minimum of an hour’s notice before arriving. This allows us to process your order before you arrive and minimises your waiting time. It also gives us the opportunity to advise you if there are any stock shortages. If possible, please avoid busy periods such as lunch-time and the end of the day when our day’s despatches are being collected by couriers.

Many customers are now enjoying the benefits of using our VBH24 online shop on te VBH Customer Portal to place their orders. Yes, we have our VBH24 online shop for use by our account customers. You must have an account with VBH to obtain log in details, although it does not need to be a credit account. If your account is a non-credit type we will release your orders once payment has been received.

VBH24 allows users to check prices, stock levels and, of course, place orders with us. Users can also track the progress of any of their orders in our system, regardless of how it was placed.

VBH24 customers also have access to the VBH Product Configurator. This allows customers to generate fully priced specs of complicated hardware sets such as bi-fold doors, tilt & turn windows, lift/slide doors within seconds. All they have to do is follow the simple Q&As, entering the relevant data and the spec will be generated. They can use this to help them quote their customer quickly and can, of course, simply send us an order for the set, then or later, at the click of a button.

All products are covered by the individual manufacturer’s guarantee. In the case of our own greenteQ brand, these are covered by either our standard 10 year guarantee, or in the case of greenteQ Coastline stainless steel products, for 25 years.

In terms of a security guarantee, we offer Q-secure. This is the only multi-brand guarantee of its kind.  In the event of a break-in being achieved due to a failure of a Q-secure hardware product, we will pay the homeowner up to £8000. The payment is split between emergency boarding-up costs, an insurance excess contribution, help towards the cost of replacing the damaged door or window and a goodwill payment. 

Where Q-secure differs from other similar guarantees is that we don’t guarantee just our own greenteQ products. We have also tested hardware from other manufacturers including AGB, Roto, Securistyle and Yale and we cover those tested products under Q-secure.

This means that fabricators are not tied to one particular hardware brand. Instead they can mix and match between the products covered by the scheme. The end user benefits too, as they won’t be left without a guarantee in the event that a part is not covered, as can happen with other schemes. If it’s Q-secured, it’s covered.
